The Civil Wars cover Eliott Smith’s “Between the Bars.”

This song is near & dear to my heart, and quite honestly my absolute favourite song to play on the pian’er. The synergy between these two is just lovely.  Their delivery is pure and honest.

Also, I’m going to guess judging by their covers on youtube… they may be fans of Madeleine Peyroux’s album “Careless Love” as both the above song & Leonard Cohen’s “Dance Me to the End of Love” appear on it.  The Civil Wars cover those songs exquisitely too. Granted, that could be purely coincidental.
